Halloween is so coming! I love Halloween. It is fun to decorate and work on projects with people I like. This year I decided upon an Edgar Allan Poe motif. Giant “NEVERMORE” strung across my porch with a big raven and small crows all over. I’ll take some photos when I am done. =) For now, I have a pumpkin I am painting… this is stage 1. It needs a few more coats.

Creepy mouth, eh? It is going to have more coats of paint and some added touches to make a finished deranged cat from Edgar Allan Poe’s The Black Cat. Fun stuff! And here are some Halloween cupcakes we picked up,

Feeling nostalgic? Want to have polaroid pictures without the muss and fuss? You can have them now! Simply take a photograph and then check out the Poladroid project…

It is super simple to use and FREE!!! YAY!!! That’s soft capitalism folks… gotta love it. =) Once you download the program and open it, then you drag a picture onto the camera and it’ll turn it into a polaroid. Then you can right click on it and save it. It even needs time to develop, or you can shake it like you would a real polaroid. Pretty nifty little program for the best price…

I think it is important to love without abandon, to say what you think but make sure you really think it first. Laugh often, even at yourself but be kind and forgiving with everyone including yourself. Write notes to those around you. Texts. Leave voicemails. Write a note by hand on a shred of paper or on 32 pages front and back… and mail it even if you live in the same house. Everyone loves to get mail that isn’t a bill. Give yourself a pep talk. Use affirmations that are fun. Be nice, go the extra mile. This world needs a little extra dose of love and friendliness.
